I still vividly remember the first time my son hurt himself. He was running in my parents living room, and tripped and fell into their coffee table face first. I was so scared, but also so strangely embarrassed. I felt like it was clearly my fault that my toddler had tripped while running. Being a parent can be weird…

Ive never been someone who has personally had many irrational fears, but logic jumped out the door when I became a father. I’m crying just thinking of something happening to him. I just can’t imagine what these parents are going through.

I too have a 2 year old (almost 3 OMG he’s getting so freaking big) and my heart just dropped for his parents after I heard this. There was also a story about a guy taking pictures of kids at a mall play area near me recently.

Very interesting that they are including the Salim story, which to my memory has nothing to do with the main storyline, in American Gods.

I watched an episode recently and was actually shocked by the lack of dialogue in many crucial moments. It was as if the show understood that jack was a man who said very little and was much better at acting. It’s such a well done show and I really hope they do it justice
