He may well have heard that Houston was in contact with Allen (which depending on the circumstances could have been completely legal) and made up the part about meeting in Houston (which would definitely be illegal).

I think it is totally reasonable to believe that he did not meet with Allen face-to-face. From my understanding, only a face-to-face meeting would have been an NCAA violation. Contact is allowed by other means.

Should have included it in the original post, but again due to the licensing agreement with Sony, we wont get Miles or Miguel anytime soon, because they have said that Spiderman has to be Caucasian. Just seems like a missed opportunity to tell new stories, even if they become standalone movies.

So, I dont know whether this means that Marvel doesnt want to do Miles or they dont want Sony to do Miles, but the licensing agreement between the two said that Spider-Man has to be white. So if we do eventually get a Miles, it probably wont be for a while.

Guardians of the Galaxy is actually great example of why Miles can work if done well. People (well me at least) are tired of see Peter Parker’s origin story over and over again. Miles is a new story that people didnt know about, much like Guardians.

If you are talking about the fact that he hasnt been seen in the Avengers films, then thats true. But there have been 5 Stand alone Spider Man Movies. Why couldn’t one of those told the story of Miles?

Its a crime that Miles hasnt made his way into the Marvel Movie Universe yet.
