Dead ringer for an older Arya.
I don't like using the word dead around Arya...

*points at Croswynd's post*

I know enough about the musculoskeletal structure in the human hand to make an educated guess.

One day

This was just as much the Fireflies' fault as it was Joel's imho. I think most people knew about his daughter. I'm sure the topic had come up at some point when Joel wasn't around between Marlene and what'sherface. Even if not, they failed in one aspect: closure. This is a man and a little girl who have been through

Hope the complainers are happy, you wanted an Xbox 360 2 and you got one. I myself was looking forward to a new idea of console gaming system, but oh well.

I do visual effects and animation professionally—one of my buddies got a kinect and is messing with it using Processing (http://www.processing.org/) and Maya. It's kinda awesome that you can get a depth camera for so cheap that will pull such interesting data. I may even get a Kinect 2 if...they sell them separately

It's a really cool piece of tech, but it's not something I want to game with, not yet.

Even in a nice, relatively large NYC apartment you'll have to choose between kinect and furniture. I'm weighing my options. After thirty, it's tough to justify nothing but bean bag chairs.

I'm getting for the over-all experience. People aren't happy about the DRM set up but they are allowing you remotely share your games with your friends. That means your broke friend across town or country doesn't actually have to come over to borrow or play your games. How is that not awesome?

I dunno...Kinect Sports is awesome for bowling with friends, especially since there is no real learning curve or controller to spill beer on.

Ummm......since the tech has improved, I am actually really interested to see what developers can do with it.

You haven't seen the Kinnect + occulus rift demos yet have you? INSANELY AWESOME!!!!!

I'd describe my feelings toward Kinect as 'optimistically ambivalent'.

I thought that, too, but I talked to a friend who uses it with his son and I officially confirm that at least one person likes the Kinect. Two if you count the kid, but he's a minor, so that doesn't really count.

Or go PC.

Well these poll results aren't biased at all.

Haven't we learned yet that "everything we want to hear" usually doesn't pan out? It seems like that same interview where he quietly backpedaled a few of those things too.

Also this (last time guys, I promise):

So one product is forward thinking, attempting new things, has many exclusive games and is working to protect the game developers who are going under at an alarming rate.
