I don't know if the BRZ gear box is Subaru or Toyota or something else but in the cold, my 2nd gear syncro doesn't work and grinds gears. I doubt it's normal.

I heard that they're ditching the Microsoft system for a completely new system, which is QNX based. They're all skinned differently but it's a similar system used on the new Audi TT, Mercs and countless other stuff. It works. (On a Jalopnik article somewhere.)
