It may be a hassle to store and such but there's only 4 thin contact points from the road to your car. Those pieces of rubber are backed by science and millions of dollars. Second, it's the difference between 5 feet and 0 that could result in your insurance doubling.

Rural Alaska. South of Barrow.

Plus all those things mentioned below. Let's say 98% (MAde up but close) are normal people. Take your parents or a non enthusiast to buy a car, they care about space, reliability, equipment. They don't care how it drives as long as it's comfortable which usually means softer suspension not always favourable for

If I'm still correct, Alfa should come out with their own styling for the Miata roadster. So yes, there is a Alfa roadster.

Not out yet, but at the time it came out, ATS to BMW, ATS won.

This is such a weird thing to hear. It snowed maybe 30cm of snow, dropped down to -25C and still saw 2 Miatas and 3 Mustang convertibles running snow tires. I think it's just unnaturally cold where I live and for so long, we've forgotten normal.

In reality, real secret agents would probably drive this car.

I put my vote in for yes.

Why don't they do the technology transfer thing and take the GTR engine in NA form? The only problem I see with cost is turning it into mass production form. I believe it's currently hand built but I'm sure parts of it are machine factioned.

There's this line that applies to all AE86 drivers. "How do you know when you're a AE86 owner? When you know every turbo charging option available on the market."

Anyone know the procedure to importing Kei cars in NA? I've seen a Kei truck or two driving around.

I think you're lucky. I got extended warranty for my car and it still doesn't cover clutch, just master cylinder, no slave cylinder. Kind of understandable though.

I thought clutches arn't under any warranty. The only exception should be the master cylinders.

Are you talking about the old GM/ Saab Ecotec engine? That thing's a unknown sleeper. It made power so easily. They made 4 banger funny car dragsters with that engine.

I drove the wheels bearings off my first car.

I read through it breifly, it's meant for truck/ industrial tires where there's a lot more rubber to play with or if a new set of tires cost is beyond the price of a normal car. Doesn't seem like a good idea to me for passenger cars.

Oh dang. 140..... I'm paying 290ish. No accidents, no tickets and driver training. I guess it's just so high for me, the car doesn't factor in.

Is it really that different? I got a GT86/F/BRZ but I compared it with a new generation Mazda 3 and the insurance was maybe 4$ more expensive. It could be that since I;m young, it's just massively expensive anyways. Or is it something to do with older Japn sports car specifically?

Not completely, he's says he's still collabing though.

I tried to look for one and consider buying one, I realized, it was never made where I live. But seriously, I'd get it just for the door.
