I don't think it makes a difference. There's always an aux port. And if you think realistically, nobody buys or rejects a car based on what the infotainment centre looks like.

I don't see a need for apps in the car, minus a map app and music services. I'm happy with the current programmable QNX based cars. Most automakers program their own interface and GUI into them anyways. As far as I can see it, there's no need for services in the car. Just give me a charge port and an aux port.

They named it wrong for the North American version. In Japan it's called the TS trim. Essentially, body and visual fixes for TS models.
