Really liking Windows 8. Have a bad feeling the tablets will be upwards of $1000 though.

My hopes exactly.

I assume this "hack" works on anything. Shame on you gutter-minds.

I totally agree on all points, but I referred only to the battery life-touting aspects.

Be wary of "Natural Flavors". Note they don't say "Organic Flavors". Industries hide countless harmful/detrimental substances under this title. Anything /from/ a natural source can be considered under this title. For example, they have in the past disguised MSG as a "Natural Flavor".

This isn't going to have the kind of power-saving impact one might expect. The vast majority of consumption is from the screen usage, followed closely by network usage for 3G/4G devices. The processor is hardly going to make a dent at these numbers.

Pffttthaaaaaaaahaaa win.

I think we need to consider that this is not hardware designed with 8 in mind.

This would be awesome if it had a standard USB port and not an apple port :(

Wow very champ, thanks!

Anyone know a way to get a specific youtube channel content into an RSS feed/video reader?

My provider DNS drops on a daily basis. Was very annoying until I remembered the Google DNS. Now my internet is always on. Yeah Google secondary DNS!

Motorola S305 Bluetooth Stereo Headset is really cheap, ~$35 and sounds just fine. It's not crazy high-quality headset, you wont really find a bluetooth meeting audiophile requirements. It never skips or lags, except when my phone is switching from 3G to wifi. A lot of people knock on it for the flimsy-feeling band

Wow that's awesome. I might actually do this, dump my phone plan and grab a wifi tablet for work/leisure. Skype and Google Voice can more than replace my phone service... Thanks for the awesome feedback.

How much data do you get per month? Do you have issues such as device heat? Anything concerning you've noticed?

I've fallen behind in the smartphone world since I got my Droid 2 when it was hot out of the oven. I'm looking to get a new phone. I'm fine with Verizon or with AT&T, I don't mind either. I also would prefer a touchscreen-only phone.

If you're going the paid route for security, I've been using Trendmicro for years. I've never had it miss anything that would ruin my day, but it is a nasty $50/year.

I love my hurricanes foretasted.

All those kids passing gas in the back...

Hmm good catch. That would be pretty sly.
