I'm just glad that you didn't mind. I was going to add a TL:DR alongside it, but I ended up having to take care of a few things and forgot about editing my post. Thank you the kind words!

You know, it wasn't my cup of tea.

I played through Act 4 on PC with absolutely no problems, but this was several weeks ago so I'm not sure if this is a recent problem that was caused by an update (if there was one) or if specifics need to be met in order for this to happen.

You actually nail why I've never gotten into that series.

Subtly is a nice asset, it can allow for some great role playing and experience. However, I generally play video games these days for less of the role playing and more so to experience the adventure, or to be told an enjoyable tale. Minor role playing in those

Oh sweet Jimminey, you are still active sometimes on Kotaku. Praise be!

See, this isn't really a solution. and especially with this being so wide-spread the best option would be to simply wait for this "phase" to pass so most of the asshattery will subside and people can actually play online and get assistance without having to use the DayZ mentality.

This bugs me so much.

As someone who worked at video game stores (one being GameStop) and as someone who trades in I can tell you the sole reason for it.

Ease.

There really is no other reason. Truth be told cutting out the middle man is always the best way to go. Selling the product yourself via websites like Amazon or Ebay is always the

Man, it doesn't feel like it was that long ago but it certainly has been awhile.

I also have to confess I miss that time. I was rarely active, but it was nice to see comments so heavily filtered and some really great conversations and much, much less of this BS.

Honestly, I'm kind of alarmed by the lack of action the staff takes at times when it comes to things like this.

Hoping something like this will force them to view it and start considering to take action, because yeah.

Thank you for such kind words!

Will it suffice that the ovation I imagined was a bunch of the Kid all delivering the ovation?

Oh gosh, that makes things even better. Thanks for that tidbid of information!

haha, now that's far too kind of praise. Thank you kindly for the nice words!

Now that's far too great of praise!

You know it! Right next to my gold star material on my parents fridge. Bards shall sing of this tale in the years to come.

I aim to please, F50! Thank you kindly.

It really is. It just illustrates that the type of behavior we see in that video is already right here on Kotaku as well. What a shame.

I was thinking of cropping the whole conversation for complete clarity purposes, and to show nothing was being left out, but felt it would of been too lengthy to read.

I appreciate that a lot, quiddity! Thank you.

I dare say this is bordering on flattery.

Now if I could only master that art all the time!

I do appreciate the kind words though, Aikage. Thank you!
