You guys took (and are still taking, apparently) the ELR ad wayyyy too seriously. It's a tongue-in-cheek expression of the virtues of hard work with just a dash of jingoism, not a battle cry from the rich of the land.

Most automakers have some incredibly tight quality standards. If you wanted the thousands of auto suppliers to be audited and held to form it would take much, much more than 1B. Quality spills happen and these companies try to handle it the best they can. I don't know of any company out there that doesn't have quality…
