Well that’s just bullshit. Sure it had a rocky development, and didn’t quite live up to the original trilogy, but you have to admit that aside from the animation issues the game had its own charms. You really felt like an explorer out there dealing with an alien race in uncharted space, building a new alliance with

Ian McShane is a huge get for this show. He’s perfect for the role, just as he was perfect in Kings, Deadwood, Lovejoy or just about anything else he’s ever been in. The man exudes gravitas.

I’m really glad that I wasn’t the only one seeing the character and thinking “I thought Tim Choate was dead?”

Thank you! God that bothered me. #Corrections

I’d kinda prefer to see a remake of Base Wars.

God I miss that show. So much better than anything that’s come out of that franchise since T2.

SPOILERS!

Funny thing about straying from the formula, is that it starts to lose mass market appeal. And make no mistake, Disney is making Star Wars films not to examine little known aspects of the canon, but to make money. So they’re going to stick closely to the characters that have already proven themselves to be popular,

It really feels like by now this guy should have branded himself with a catchy name, rather than being known as “the Pen-Pineapple-Apple-Pen guy”.

Don’t you think it would be important to look at the discussion about the hanging tree from the perspective of what the discussion meant to Odin? They directly reference Odin’s death for his people during the conversation. If you watch the scene with the additional context from knowing the mythology, you’ll see that

Schtick < Readability

I wonder if they’ll ever let Jerry Lambert out of the doghouse. I think that a Kevin Butler moment would be pretty epic at E3 in any year.

They did indeed.

Uh... they know she’s Greek, right?

Disappointingly using nouveaux Pennywise design instead of classic Tim Curry era, but still pretty pants-shittingly well done.

Well to put in context, The Last of Us is probably still the best game on the system, but I had to really think about it when Horizon came out because it’s goddamn excellent.

Preach brother. My backlog had become so big, I had to stage a self intervention. I’ve adopted a practice that I don’t buy anything unless I’m actually going to drop everything and play it immediately. Waiting a month or more for “non priority” games has saved me a ridiculous amount of money and caused no interruption

At the same time, I’m still waiting for Crackdown 3 from when they first talked about it in 2014. Early announcements are the norm on consoles, usually when you have a light slate of games that are releasing imminently. The good news is that Sony and its third party partners have released a crapload of exclusives
