Well I mean, I had heard enough good things that I bought the collection, but just couldn’t get into the interminable style of Jak II, with all its artificially extending backtracking and tonal shift. I don’t want to skip to Jak III without powering through II, so I’ll go back some day.
How crappy is Jak 3, if Jak II is the high water mark? Because I bought the remastered trilogy, and Jak II really lost me.

Its not that you can’t, its that developers don’t bother to program that functionality into their games. Unreal Tournament had the ability to play with mouse / keyboard on the PS3, and FFXI/XIV both have that function on PS3/PS4. The capability is there, they just usually don’t take advantage of it.
