I respect you even more for having that kind of power.

So if I play the game and think it's bad, that makes me a dick?
People are not entitled to their opinions?

If you like the game, go play it.
If you're marketing the game, go put out ads instead of astroturfing.
If you made the game, shame on you.

Overspend the money and every last continent moves up the panic tracker. Ignore UFOs in particular continents, and they'll move up the panic tracker too. If they damage your base, that might increase panic too. And if they hit the brown zone it's game over. And if they destroy your base, it's game over. All of those

Considering the artwork is all from ads, I'd bet that Irrational Games had a deal with an artist and/or ad agency who owned the artwork from that period, and paid for its use. I highly doubt that they would re-use art to this extent and not expect it to be challenged.

The Directors Cut version solved that problem actually. I wasn't hugely disappointed in the original version but I will admit that the new versions of the fight add something that had been lacking. All told, the game is damn good, on par with the originals and with modern graphics. Added together with the substantial

Hey, they rebooted Deus Ex fairly successfully, so it's still possible. But I'm with you there. There hasn't been a good S-E game in... wow. I don't even know how long.

And I'd love to see a reboot, actually. A completely new Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, in 3D HD. Assuming they ever sorted out the rights issue over the Blood Omen title. I seem to recall there was some scuffle about who owned what back in the days of Blood Omen 2.

You must be unfamiliar with the term "reply" as it goes both ways.
You don't think I'm right, fine. I think you're wrong too. We're off to a good start.
No, I don't have any stats from an alternate timeline where past events didn't happen.
An influx of users is definitely beneficial to Square-Enix, not to the franchise.

I would back the first season of "Idiot Thunderdome" on Kickstarter, and be the first to sign up as a corporate sponsor.

You put a lot of words in my mouth that I certainly did not say.

I didn't call you an idiot.
You can like it if you want, I'm not stopping you.
I'm not sure how I would go about defending an argument that you yourself admit that I haven't made.
I don't think people should blindly do anything, and they can go ahead and

That's a good idea, considering that Square-Enix is getting more involved with Kickstarter campaigns through their Square Enix Collective program.

For all you know this G-Bike thing is some people's favourite games.

If you believe that logic, go buy Final Fantasy VII G-Bike, because I'm sure that Square-Enix are just testing the waters, seeing how many people are interested in a remake of Final Fantasy VII.

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but if this game succeeds that just makes it less likely that they'll ever go back

No.

See previous reply.

Project Milo was super impressive too.

Your careful interpretation of events, your willful twisting of my previous posts, and the way you paint the generous offer made by Sony with paranoid colors have left me with no recourse than to forfeit this argument to you. Whether intentionally or inadvertently, your skewed viewpoint has made it impossible for me

I've read everything you've said.
