At the very least they owe their first purchasers an apology, if not a great deal more.

Four months into a console cycle, the people buying now are still early adopters. Until Microsoft offers a free copy of Titanfall to all current Xbox One owners, I think it's perfectly reasonable to blame Microsoft.

Fanboys don't dictate Microsoft strategy. The negative attention they have gotten has been negative for

The first price cut on the 360 happened almost two years after release, reducing the price by $20-$50 depending on the HD size of the unit, without changing features of the package.

This is something different.

Not four months into a new console's lifecycle they don't. Think about what Microsoft's sales numbers would have been like if they'd announced in November that there was going to be a Titanfall bundle in March at $450. You can't tell me that people wouldn't have waited if that had been presented as an option.

My outrage is real, and if you were an early adopter, you should be pissed as well. Since you appear to be trawling through my previous threads for signs of hypocrisy (classy, by the way), you'll see that I am interested, but that my main barrier to the purchase of the system was the price. The rebate is not available

The person who bought the console on faith on day one, who then bought Titanfall, has spent $560 in North America. The person who Microsoft has to win over three months into the console's life cycle gets the system and game for $450. Three months. I don't care how you spin it, that's ridiculous.

So a free game and a $50 rebate? Way to screw the early adopter Microsoft. I'm so sick of this.

You're assuming that the changes are going to occur on disc rather than being loaded into the obligatory day 1 patch. Also, you're assuming that this is a real delay rather than a strategy by Microsoft to encourage the sales of the Xbox One. Or is that too cynical of me?

I've just seen it jump position more than once and wondered why.

Is there a reason why this review has been promoted multiple times since the game's release? Is this a sponsored post?

He doesn't.

You never know. They own Columbia Pictures and are currently making two of their biggest IPs into movies. Infamous would certainly tick the superhero box, and make for a great summer blockbuster.

See previous.

See previous.

Well this is just a new goddamn low.

No, you're talking about the manufacturing process. It's a given that it's going to be different with a disc-less Xbox. That doesn't change the fact that even your own suggestion has two SKUs just like I said.

"As far as we know", because they don't. I've yet to see anything confirmed about the PS4's CPU, just comparative performance testing which all favors the PS4. I'm not saying that they do, but if the Xbox One has a faster CPU, it certainly isn't benefiting from it.

Test balloon for an Infamous movie, mayhaps?

You would have to package it differently since the packaging (and the process for packaging itself) is built around a a console + kinect unit. So the console alone would need new packaging. The Kinect unit by itself would also need new packaging and manuals. That's two SKU by definition

Jack was awesome, and I'll miss his energy and charisma at Sony's E3, but what was with his hand gestures when giving a speech? Did anyone else notice that or was it just me?
