My guess is that the relationships are dysfunctional well before the wedding, but one or both believe that getting married will somehow magically fix their problems. They get married, realize that everything is still exactly the same (or worse), and split.

Hanzo contemplating his nerf arrow is maybe my favorite.

Bout time! Was gettin’ real sick of all the unsexy women on this show. Glad they decided to change things up. Real breath of fresh air.

The problem with Witcher 3 treasure hunts is that most of the time I was getting schematics for stuff I wasn’t even remotely close to being able to wear, and which mostly didn’t appeal anyway because one of the other set pieces had better stats. After awhile I had a mountain of schematics that I never looked at twice

Listen, we must defend and uphold our democracy at all costs. Unless we lose an election. Then we should kill the other guys and take power back. It doesn’t really count as democracy unless we’re in charge.

In one of the trailers, the Ancient One tells Strange that he becomes a great sorcerer the same way he became a great doctor: study and practice.

It’s difficult to know why this universe, which lacks anything slightly PG-13, has inspired such an intense sexual fascination.

If it can be observed, studied, understood and harnessed in a reliable way then it simply is a kind of science. If there was no consistency, cause and effect, then there would be nothing for Strange to study or master, and he wouldn’t be able to cast particular spells or achieve particular results...it would just be

Damn, point well made! I hadn’t even thought of this until the video posed the question and I was like “....”. And the re-cut of that Thor scene with the more serious music. I actually did find it waaay more effective and interesting.

one of the goofiest goddamn names in all of comicdom

It’s my personal policy to leave all religious people alone who are not actively advocating and campaigning to force the rest of us to observe their archaic, oppressive beliefs.

Except “Scottish” is a nationality that merely requires one to be born under certain legal/political/geographical circumstances. “Catholic”, by definition, means you subscribe to Catholicism, which is a very detailed and very explicit set of beliefs and moral laws. In that case, you can certainly argue that “no true

It’s very interesting to watch YouTube mature into a full-fledged, mainstream, mass media platform before our very eyes, and also to watch the fans and content creators there come to grips with the reality that, as free and open as YouTube is, it’s still very much beholden to many of the traditional constraints that

Stuck at what feels like the climax. The horror and tension kinda dissipates after spending five minutes typing in every conceivable command only to get “I’m sorry I don’t understand” over and over.

Yeah, it has great atmosphere, but the immersion is quickly broken by frustration. I powered through the first couple minutes, but now I’m stuck on what feels like it’s supposed to be the climax and i’m ready to just look up a walkthrough and read what happens. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be one.

The game is full of murder, cannibalism, slavery, organ harvesting...but drug use is the thing that turns you off?

Well, since the first Jensen’s Story was literally pulled right out of the middle of the game you just played through, maybe that missing climax you mentioned will be one of the other paid episodes.

I’m gonna chime in and add another recommendation for Roll20, or one of the similar services.

A check might be appropriate depending on what else is going on. Is the adventurer being held under water by something? Grappled by a kraken tentacle? Being swept away by a fierce current? Are they starting to suffocate from lack of breath?

I don’t think her classic jester outfit is actually that silly compared to her current bondage clown look.
