Make sure he gets into the technical side of it - programming, rigging, tool development, shader/rendering stuff etc. Pays better, is in higher demand, and gives him more options to move around.

Bleh. Seems like XP progression is being shoehorned into every genre, just so the devs can stretch out play time by making players grind for things.
The funny thing is, that certain segment of gamers will get all riled up at any comments on the maleness and whiteness as being SJW whining. But if it was six women of varying ethnicity and two dudes then they'd be bitching about the game pushing an “agenda”.
When I saw a review compare it to Nuclear Throne and Binding of Isaac I was pretty much morally obligated to purchase it.
YUP. The souls games are arguably full of nasty little tricks and surprises, but those assholes stick with me as the most memorable time the game felt like it was giving me the middle finger, over and over.
I think it would be much more practical for a Batmobile to be stealthy rather than armed/armored and rugged. As in, looks more-or-less like a normal car from the outside, enough so that he could drive it in traffic without everyone immediately knowing it’s Batman.
Wow, that was excellent. I don’t follow esports at all, but I would totally watch more of this guy’s vids. Clear, concise breakdown of the tactics, despite the fact that I don’t even know all the lingo.
I feel really bad for HaW’s fiancee. I don’t think she’s getting out of this without getting burned, one way or another. Getting dumped immediately is probably her best-case scenario - at least that way she can start moving on, and looking for someone who actually wants her. I mean, just put yourself in her shoes -…
Hahaha, WOW. That’s a truly incredible quote. Don’t ask for raises because karma will reward you! I wonder how many executives live by that mantra.
I thought dude was gonna kneel down and check on the mother, but NOPE.
Mannn the DLC armor is truly terrible. I don’t need grim realism, but I do need actually cool looking. I wish they’d just offered some new variations on tier 2 and 3. I woulda paid for that.
Perhaps the greatest of all nope gifs.
Yeah, agreed. The flood of crappy mobile stuff makes me leery now of anything with the Warhammer name attached. It seems like they’ll farm the license out to anyone for a quick buck.
But I haven’t tried Mordheim or Vermintide yet, and both of those look pretty promising.
The Mad Max-esque punk aesthetic is an odd choice. Especially since it doesn’t seem to mesh very well with anything else in the game. I mean, I like the idea of stuff like welding masks being appropriated as makeshift helmets. But matched with ultra-sleek and techy Warden armor? And leather vests and midriff-bearing…
Wonder how much of that money the people who actually designed and built the game got.
The day you lost 10,000 league points was the most important day of your life. For Capcom, it was a tuesday.
If the connection is actually being lost for uncontrollable reasons - poor internet service, real life distractions - then the disconnects would be just as likely to happen while the player is winning. All Capcom has to do is look at a player’s record and determine if there’s an obvious pattern of most of the…
If she didn’t want to be involved, she shouldn’t have tried to use her status as an advocate for human trafficking survivors to try and get a stranger fired without even checking her facts. Now she’s embarrassed and trying to scrub details of her involvement. But a reporter doesn’t need your permission in advance to…
Agreed, that connectedness was a big part of the magic of Dark Souls for me. And the fact that it was mostly missing from Dark Souls 2 was a big disappointment. I hope they can recapture that feeling of one big, sprawling game world with paths winding throughout.
This episode was a big disappointment. In some ways, I saw it coming. Time travel stories almost always end badly, because there are always huge paradoxes and contradictions hanging over whatever plot resolution they come to that leave things feeling rather arbitrary.
