I love this concept. First heard of it on the last Hey Rosetta album, where they have a song referencing it.

There’s also an awesome “Load from Character Pool” mod kicking around. I haven’t tested it yet, but it seems to mean that once you’ve painstakingly customized a trooper and saved her to the character pool, you can load all those settings onto a new trooper with the same name just by clicking a button. Which is what I…
It’s probably not that important.
The guerrilla warfare aspect really only makes two major changes to the combat - it drastically speeds up the first few turns of each map, as you can move and scout a bit more freely, and it gives you the drop on the first aliens you engage by allowing you to ambush them (which is INCREDIBLY satisfying). Once you…
This looks cool, and is what I personally really want out of VR: building 3D stuff. Get Zbrush running in there and let me work like I’m actually sculpting a physical object in my hands but with all the flexibility of working on a computer, and I will basically never come out.
“drive like humans, not robots.”
Even if Naruto could sue for copyright, who the hell says PETA gets to speak for him and handle his money?
If Avery is cleared of the crime, then wouldn’t Brendan also be exonerated since it would prove his confession - the only actual evidence they have against him - is bullshit?
All that needs to be said. Comments over.
I’m mixed on the game right now. Backed it, but haven’t touched it until full release. Didn’t want to get tired of it before I had a chance to play the full, finished product.
This doesn’t seem to very accurately simulate being kicked in the balls.
I was extremely excited for this game - still am, really - but I’m glad I didn’t pick it up day one. Everything I’ve read leads me to believe that when I do eventually grab it in a few months, the modding community will have gone a long way towards turning it into the game I *really* want to play.
Man, Turbulence is amazing. First TF animation I’ve seen that actually cracked me up and was strong beginning to end. Great use of dialogue too.
They also don’t even really care about saving money. They hate any social program that helps prevent crime and create social stability if it means someone gets something for free, and at the same time they’ll throw unlimited money at punishment and persecution no matter how ineffective it’s proven to be in actually…
I was totally surprised at how much I enjoyed this game. Picked it up well after it came out, on sale. Avoided it for awhile because the premise sounded cheesy and the episodic format of the chapters seemed gimmicky.
Nice try, person-shaped mass of tarantulas that has somehow learned to post comments on the internet. I’m on to you.
Is...is that your hand it’s sitting on?
Ha, aw bats! I like them, but I get that they freak people out, what with the fear of rabies and whatnot.
It wasn’t nearly as traumatizing as some of the stories here, but my most terrifying insect experience was my brush with bedbugs. Living and renting apartments in a big city, you hear and read a lot of bedbug horror stories over the years. Sleepless, itchy nights. Furniture that has to be trashed. Infestations that…
White God is most definitely not a horror movie. If you go into it expecting a horror movie, you may be seriously disappointed. It’s more like Homeward Bound with a little violence (but probably a lot less violence than you’re likely hoping for).
