So from what I gather, this movie is something like a half-hour of setup/plot, followed by 90 minutes of chase through the apocalyptic desert while cars flip and explode non-stop.

Well, those dang safety protocols keep failing, or getting turned off!
Thankfully they're just daddy long legs. I can handle those. That's still freaky - falling off the walls and ceiling in clumps like that. No way in hell I'd be going in there to film it. But it probably won't give me terrifying spider nightmares.
By "firehose" I assume you mean a hose that sprays fire.
They should have just stretched that episode into a two hour movie. Would have been exactly 10 million times better than this garbage.
Never played Demon Souls, just Dark Souls 1 and 2, and I never had any good PvP experiences with either one. Whether invading or being invaded, it seemed like I always ended up facing off against someone with gear and abilities far beyond mine, who could laugh off my attacks and then one-shot me. Or else they were…
I'm not sure, I think her betrayal in the show totally works. From a practical standpoint it's the obvious option. Everything is rigged against Tyrion, he has no real chance of being exonerated and Shae speaking up in his defense wouldn't change any of that. It would only guarantee her own death (or worse), and she's…
I would be only slightly surprised if that was literally what they actually thought.
There's weirdos everywhere.
"why don't you ladies come over here and get all of this pleasure"
Hmm, let's see. I'd have to go with: every single thing about Chrono Trigger.
I definitely agree with your basic sentiment. I think it's pretty common to see people railing against racism or sexism, and falling into seriously racist/sexist attitudes themselves in the process. But I don't think I agree that this campaign quite fits into that category.
That's why I think an actual all-out reboot is the way to go. Forget trying to recapture the past or continue a story 25 years later. Just take the core elements and make something new and fresh.
I'm way more interested in the reboot, regardless of the gender of the cast (All-female is interesting because it's a novelty, and extremely rare outside of rom-coms specifically marketed to women. Making a point of specifying "all male" is dumb because it's basically redundant).
Ha! This gif was totally unexpected and totally cracked me up.

Shit, you may have just convinced me that a smart watch is something I could actually find useful.
Man, that game looks cool. Definitely plan on grabbing it when it releases on Steam.
I've tried hard to like Buckaroo Bonzai, watched it twice. Have a few friends who practically worship it. But I just can't. I find it totally boring.
