Yeah, I agree with pretty much all of this. I like DS2, I'm having fun playing it, but it's disappointing in a variety of ways compared to DS1.

The world design is a particularly big one, for me. One of the coolest things about DS1 was how it all felt like one, big, epic continuous world. It blew my mind the first

I agree, these guys are rad. They capture the essence of the characters pretty well, without even any plot or dialogue. I'd watch a movie like this.

Haha, nice! I had pretty much the same reaction. Check out Virtual Light after you're done with the Sprawl Trilogy, if you haven't already read it.

Unless anyone was actually, directly, physically affected and inconvenienced on race day, this is purely a matter for race security, to figure out better ways to stop it from happening in the future. And track 'em down and fine 'em or something, sure. But it hardly calls for a public witch hunt.

Man, I can't believe no one ever thought of a sexy, black magic witch in a skimpy dress before! And calling her "Siren" because, like, she's sexy so she's alluring. Like mythical sirens. But also evil. Get it???

She does have a cool bird hat. Does that count?

Haha, seriously! I can't believe they can say stuff like that with a straight face.

Wow, that was painful. That ain't racist, that's a crime against music and all of humanity.

That actually looks pretty rad. I'd love to try one.

Is there a solution somewhere between standing and sitting? Some kind of tall chair that supports you comfortably in a semi-standing position?

FUCK YO CAKE

Well, I can empathize with him in one regard: it can be fucking hard to get enough women on your team for co-ed rec league sports. At least, that's been my experience in volleyball. We aren't even hardcore about it, we're all pretty amateur players and just go out for fun. But forfeiting still sucks, feels like you're

This is my question, too. I've read a lot of the same criticisms, restated over and over, but I haven't read any in-depth discussions on actual, tangible solutions.

I ran like hell from those things, I was pretty sure they were gonna eat me.

One of my favorite moments in the game so far.

I'm a little disappointed in the difficulty so far, as well. I wish the Victor's stone didn't disable online play, so I could fully experience the game for the first time with the heightened difficulty.

I totally skipped the entire tutorial area because I saw fog doors and was sure DS2 was for sure the sort of game to drop bosses or some crazy hard challenges right at the beginning, meant for you to come back to later.

What happened to this woman is truly horrifying, however the justice she's entitled to was served with the settlement from Herold's estate. If that isn't enough to cover her care, she should have gotten more. She should have gotten the entire estate, if that's what's needed.

This is dumb, and not funny, and also those people are dicks.

I agree with you, especially about the levels. I think the teleporting between bonfires undermines the level design. In Dark Souls, the areas were carefully designed to intertwine and connect up, with cleverly placed shortcuts opened at key points. They had to be that way because you had to be able to run everywhere.
