It seems to me that Mike was super willing to admit his ignorance and apologize. He also seems very open to talking to people and learning about why and how what he said was offensive. Which is why The Fullbright Company sounds like they're full of shit, to me. THAT'S the behavior they don't want to support?

A lot of the response he got was insane, vitriolic hate. Very personal attacks. A lot of the people who reacted, reacted like huge assholes, even though the core of their offense was valid.

WHAT. That sounds awesome, I didn't know about it. I need to check it out.

I didn't think World War Z was such a great book, so I wasn't very invested in how this movie turned out. But I was still disappointed that they opted to make basically just another generic zombie movie, instead of at least playing with WWZ's angle - i.e. the reporter travelling around collecting eyewitness accounts.

Ha, hilarious picture. Of course she's also the ONLY female character in the room.

Steam is not a platform. PC is a platform, while Steam is just one service on that platform. Steam offers crazy sales and incentives partially because it has to compete against other digital storefronts for your business. A PC gamer has many services to choose from in order to obtain games.

New games do go on sale occasionally, and sometimes Steam will even give a discount on pre-ordering a game.

I liked Witcher 2, and I really like CD Projekt Red's stance on DRM. This will be one of the few games I buy at full price on PC, to support the devs.

I'll be buying this the SECOND it's released on PC.

Makes sense. If you're huge into the media console thing, Xbox seems like the better choice. I personally don't see the appeal. Mainly because I don't watch a lot of TV, and because whatever TV I want to watch is on the web somewhere, easily accessible with any computer and an internet connection. So I see no reason

I would think that not many developers can afford to shun a particular platform, just because it doesn't do everything they want it to.

I dunno, the designs aren't that impressive.

Looks pretty cool, obviously a huge amount of time and effort being pumped into the visuals. But I think for a Warhammer film to work, you gotta go a little more stylized with the look of the humans. The faces in this are a little too waxy-mannequin-uncanny-valley. Everything in the Warhammer universe is so

God I LOVE that cinematic! I remember watching it over and over before I even jumped into the actual game.

Oh man, the mummy cracks me up every time.

I love the subject matter and the visuals, but the videos I've seen make the gameplay (especially the combat) look SUPER boring. Maybe i'll check it out when I can pick it up for a decently discounted price.

You best not be implying that the Hero of Canton is anything less than a saint, and a champion for the weak and downtrodden everywhere! >:O

This is why I don't believe in worshiping and making icons out of scientific figures, either modern or historical.

This comment applies to like 90% of all the big-budget games being made today.

If you go straight in with a publisher, you're just subject to a whole other system, right? Where Valve themselves evaluate your game and decide, based on their own criteria, whether they want it or not. IF Valve ever gets around to looking at your game, since that line is populated by a lot of bigger, more
