Wow, the zombies in that game are extra terrifying.

Being anti-abortion isn't really about the health and wellbeing of women, though anti-abortion activists often play that card to make their position seem more noble. It's also not a rational position that's vulnerable to reason and scientific inquiry. It's largely a religious, moral conviction, that won't be swayed at

Two things jump out at me, from the passages you quote:

The author didn't call them prudes either. So what's your point?

Doubt all you want, doubters. But if you only knew what Valve is doing with entanglement...

All I know is that when I walk down my street on a friday or saturday night, it ain't the potheads who are shoving people, yelling stupid shit, starting fights, getting into car accidents and pissing and puking on every other street corner.

Yeah, but do you want to hide the fact that gaming is a big part of your life, only to reveal it later and THEN find out the guy has a weird reaction to it? Either that he thinks it's nerdy and weird, or he suddenly idolizes and fetishizes you for it? You avoid the initial awkward reaction, but only to delay it until

Someone needs to recreate the classic Clavin and Hobbes strip with a thin man and a sectoid.

Yoga is just stretching, balance and breathing control. Kids would get as much benefit from it as they'd get from any other form of physical exercise.

The next logical step is to not release a game at all. 100% of illegal piracy eradicated!

Hopefully people are able to start making larger, custom maps.

Bring laser weapons. Some people say lasers are underpowered and not worth it, but I find the couple extra points of damage they offer to be a HUGE help against early, high-health Chrysalids and Mutons. I give everyone except my snipers and heavies a laser rifle, including my assaults. They do better damage than a

As far as I can tell, unseen enemies don't actually creep around the map killing civilians. The civilians seem to just either be on timers, or they have a random chance to die if they're out of your sight at the start of a turn, regardless of whether there are any aliens around or not.

My question is, why is prosecution for unpaid wages so rare?

That's seriously fucking gross. Props to Caruso for her awesome response in the moment, and to the people who are expressing their support for her.

I'm not an anime fan in general, but I do like some anime. Evangelion is a mixed bag, for me. I love the premise of the plot, I love a lot of the details and imagery. The angels are so messed up and surreal, and that the giant robots are actually huge monsters underneath whose armor is as much a control mechanism as

Yep, a lot of games could benefit from stepping away from the galaxy/world-ending super plots, and going for smaller scale stories. Treat them like episodes of Star Trek or X-Files - smaller adventures with awesome plots and payoffs that occur in the context of a much bigger universe. This would give so many game

Any game that up front throws out William Gibson and Blade Runner as influences has my attention. I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this.

For a split, split second my brain made me read the title as "Aubrey Plaza", and I thought about how I would read video game press releases written by April Ludgate any day.

I feel like the some of the Silent Hill games could be considered fairly adult. Not because of the horror or violence (which I don't think necessarily make something "adult"), but because their plots deal with some pretty messed-up concepts. Religious fanaticism, sexual violence, guilt & redemption, mental illness...I
