Oh man, the Bert gif is the best.

What are the legalities, in a situation like this? Can there be a contract of employment between the workers and Fader, if the "employees" aren't getting paid or receiving any kind of compensation? If the workers are collecting unemployment while working on these projects, I assume they are not legally employees of

Seems kinda sketchy to, running a studio of professionals who are working for you to build new IP but getting paid unemployment by the government.

I'm not 100% up on my Bible-learnin', but as I recall Jesus only ever explicitly stated six commandments, and none of them had anything to do with cracking jokes about him.

Somebody go ask Jesus if he's offended by jokes about his crucifixion.

The only major trip I've planned myself was from Toronto, Canada to New Orleans for Mardis Gras. We used Expedia.ca and were super-impressed with the service. We made a mess of our bookings, and Expedia's customer service was super helpful and friendly, and got it all sorted out for us with no extra fees or penalties

It may cost you more or less to build yourself, depending on the type of cat you get to power it.

"I'm not wearing hockey pads!"

Finding some way to make the organic brain last forever seems more likely to me than figuring out a way to transfer a consciousness into a robot brain. Aging is essentially cells decaying in a way the body can't repair, right? So immortality would be a matter of finding some way to shut off the signals that cause

"Such research has the potential to free you, as well as the majority of all people on our planet, from disease, old age and even death."

Yeah, I think you hit the nail on the head with the second point. They're implying that if you bought your PC from a little shop and it was inexpensive then you probably got ripped off and it's not going to be able to do what you need it to do. Just scaring people into spending more money on the "safe" Mac.

First Silent Hill isn't completely awful, which means it's a startling triumph in terms of video game movies. I'm a big fan of the Silent Hill franchise, in particular 1 through 4. I didn't expect much from the first movie, but I think it does an admirable job of capturing some of the atmosphere and feel of Silent

I don't have a problem with violent games, I've been playing them most of my life. But there's definitely a point where the gore fetish reaches the point of creepiness.

I find it so weird that Zamudo is worshipped as a hero, when all he did was show up and help sit on Loughner after several others (unarmed, and some wounded) had already tackled him, disarmed him and put him on the ground.

I like Minecraft for the sense of exploration it can convey. It feels much more immersive and atmospheric wandering around a 3-dimensional world. Building is also more fun in 3d. But Terraria has much more satisfying game elements, with more kinds of enemies to fight, more weapons and items to use, NPCs to buy and

Ironically, these douchebags could have fulfilled their wish to not be recorded by simply ignoring Dr. Mann and his family. But by getting in his face and attacking him, they guaranteed they would be.

My dad makes the whole family watch that every christmas. It's like a family tradition.

Ha, oh man, I seriously wanna watch that with Pee-wee dubbed over Bane for the whole movie.

Welp, I had a good run, but now it's time to spend all my money on amazing video game deals.

Both approaches can work, depending on the kind of story being told. Really interesting things can come from making it up as you go, starting from a core concept and letting it grow organically from there - sometimes in ways even you, as the creator, don't expect. Also, you can get stuck forever in the planning phase
