I feel very sorry for this guy. He obviously has some serious issues. Whether they're based on some kind of developmental condition or simple social awkwardness/shitty personality, I have a feeling he's going to have a very, very hard time ever finding a fulfilling romantic relationship.

Do they bite or sting? I assume that if it's capable of eating a carrot then it must have some mighty jaws.

Intelligence often just makes people more capable of rationalizing awful decisions and behavior.

If anyone ever tries to tell you that we're sophisticated creatures who are better than animals, and have overcome our baser instincts with logic, reason and self-reflection, just show them a few black friday shopping riot videos.

Heh, yes, I have fond memories of the mission where you're supposed to convince snobby apartment dwellers to allow mutants to move into the building. I managed to convince all but one...lucky for me, she died in her sleep. Violently.

Well let's see...killing villagers, farmers, the elderly, mothers, fathers, all permissable, right? Can you kill blind people? The homeless? The mentally ill? I'm guessing yes, as long as they're adults. Exactly how old does someone have to be before killing them changes from a moral abomination to a non-event? 16?

I generally agree that political action is more important that public demonstrations. But the question remains, who do you vote for if every candidate on the ballot is part of the problem? Look at Obama...lots and lots of people voted for change, and in many ways just got more of the same.

Well, you're right, it's very subjective. That's why I say the actual debate is about whether particular actions qualify as greedy or not.

Greed is bad by definition. It's the /excessive/ desire to possess wealth, goods, etc. Like, to the point where you will do shit like hurt other people and crash economies to get it. If no harm is being done, then it's not greed.

Saw/heard her for the first time this past summer. Had no idea who she was, she just happened to be opening for another band I went out to see. She and her band totally blew me away. High-energy, great style, and damn can she dance.

It's an interesting observation. Of course, sexual assault against both boys and girls is swept under the rug all the time, but when the cases break in the media, you never see the males being openly and widely accused of things like dressing slutty or "asking for it".

At this point we can safely ignore anyone trying to talk about how games are not art. Seriously, don't even bother debating them about it. It's simply the prejudice that every new medium and art movement encounters. Rock and Roll wasn't art. Neither were "moving pictures". Every movement you learned about in art

If you want a disturbing horror movie involving kids, check out The Children. SUPER creepy.

This new look is surprisingly awesome! Of course it's also very stylized, and very different from the previous DMCs, so I'm sure plenty of hardcore fans will hate it.

Seems to me the point is that the company publicly took responsibility, and is obviously not treating the matter lightly or as something that's funny. If ever there was an example of "The Industry" taking women seriously, this seems to be it.

The company publicly acknowledged it, took responsibility, apologized, denounced it as something they don't endorse and promised to punish the programmer who inserted the bit of code. They obviously don't consider the situation funny at all. So what exactly is the problem here? That some nerdy programmers have sexist

This would also work perfectly as a Mario bros "?" block, that changes color and makes the coin "ding" sound when hit.

I'm confused by the implication that I can't take beach volleyball seriously if I also find the participants sexy, or that I can't respect these women as olympic champions and appreciate their incredible bodies at the same time. They two ideas are not mutually exclusive.

This technology is awesome, and I look forward to the day when super-athletes with carbon fiber bodies go head to head, jumping higher, running faster and generally doing crazier shit than any normal person could do. I would watch the hell out of that.

Yeah, I agree. It's no different than jerking off. It only strikes us as weird because it's rare.
