So I’ve done it. I’ve ordered a flywheel from Ford Racing. I can’t wait to get the manual in my coupe, she’s been waiting for three years... Will put pics up here at some point when I get my phone back, the t-5 is sitting pretty in the basement.
It’s a custom throttle cable linkage, cause the original was bum as fuck and wouldn’t properly mount to my Holly carburetor. Total parts probably in the range of $22-$25. Well worth it if you ask me.
Maybe I’m just delusional from the lack of sleep caused by having the roof of my home torn off and nailed back in place at 6 am on a Saturday morning... But I was just daydreaming about how awesome a Focus RS 5 cylinder turbo swapped into my 67 coupe would be.
Sounds pretty good to me. What do you all think for 7500?
Hey, so a lady friend of mine is looking for a car to buy in the Northeast.
Guess what I'm doing oppo...
It's a Holley 570 aluminum Street Avenger to go on top of my edelbrock performer 289 intake. The engines not that hot, just a stock 289 bored .04 over with intake, full length headers, 2 1/2 inch out with an H pipe. I might port my stock heads, but that will come after I get my t-5 in, that's priority from here on…
What should be my first legal six pack purchase? I want something real tasty. I don't know too much about beer, but I've had many, many makes because my brother is a bit of a fanatic, hes been brewing for 3 or 4 years as well.
Five minutes in:
Vintage wheel ads.
I'm changing my intake gaskets.
Did a few things to the coupe today, replaced the fuel lines, pcv valve, some assorted trim, and started to disassemble things for the intake gasket replacement. Then I started fooling around with the grille.
