At least in Texas, if the car still moves, it should be pulled out of traffic. Particularly nowadays when everyone has a camera in their pocket to document the incident. There was/is a big campaign using road signs to tell people.

Yup
People used to drive better. No ABS, sticky tires or fancy horsepower to cover a lack of skills.
soooo.... Did they cancel the E-series or something?
Simple. Take your car to a mechanic when the wheel shakes violently and/or you hear metal on metal contact. Don't turn the stereo up and be like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
You're supposed to leave it in gear. That's how you keep the car from rolling away if the brake fails. Unless you live in a very flat place, always leaving it in neutral is a bad habit.
the stock rear end is a red flag. Nobody has hooned this car at 10/10 for any length of time or that pumpkin would have been turned into pie. Lord only knows what else isn't up to snuff. Owner may not know themselves. Cool shell, concerning work. Not for 10K, thanks.
I get what you're saying, but you're not negating the analogy. Even in an industrial or rural area, you're still responsible for where your bullets go. If you fire at an 'abandoned' building and kill someone inside, you're still in trouble. Cars work the same way. Doesn't matter if they were consenting adults who…
I don't know if they've been officially charged yet. You tend to be innocent until proven guilty in the arresting portion of the legal cycle. Look at the mustang owner who says it wasn't him. Even with the video, maybe its true, maybe it's bullshit. It's still early yet.
So are you saying there should be no repercussions for two dead bodies?
Saying "murder" is just to drive the point home to the kids like the OP. The prosecutor wants 33 years, which I guess is the max applicable for two people while street racing. MADD lists the maxes for drunk driving here, and it looks like two will get you 20 years. I guess you could read that that California calls…
The Swedish hypercar does not need your validation. It will find contentment in the silence of your awe.
Here, you might find this helpful:
I don't think your post is wrong, I think the terms are imprecise and that's giving everyone a conniption fit. A traditional wastegate would begin to open well before 3.5bar, reducing efficiency of the new system. Even the electronically controlled ones don't snap open at full boost, they gradually bypass excess…
At least in the states, the Duett was either a PV445 or a P210. That's what appears on titles and door jambs. The name conflict did keep the Amazon (sometimes spelled Amason) title from being official, but that's what I'm saying. Canadian and Euro markets varied from the U.S. somewhat.
Dropping soldiers behind enemy lines silently during the invasion of Europe. Not really something you would do in a world where radar is common.
Just so you know, Volvo has never, ever, ever produced a US model with a "real" name. Ever. Closest they ever came was the "Amazon", which was in fact a 120 series. The alpha-numeric nomenclature is like the only tradition Volvo has left intact :/
I think that your point is naive. Consider that in order to do business in China, automakers have to pair with a native partner. This leads to the exactly the transfer of funds and technology you're seemingly concerned about. Should we stop buying Ford and GM since they are complicit in that practice? It's not…
Geez angry guy. Take your own point about debate. You're trying to make a lot of hay of the China thing, berating people for not being scandalized by it. I'm just curious what vehicle you deem acceptable. What criterion makes it acceptable?
Ok mr. Good Consumer, what do you drive?
