The renowned Tilley Hats ([www.tilley.com]) come with the secret compartment. A couple years ago at a Mexican resort, it was perfect to keep my room and safe key, as well as notes and a slim-line pencil. Here at home, I keep a spare $10 or so in the hat for emergencies.

Did the week challenge, $37/week/person in late 90s. No using spices except salt and pepper unless within this budget. D*** hard. Learned a lot, and gained a lot of respect for anyone who is very poor and has to do this kind of thing regularly.

Question. Which tables use direct touch and not capacitive touch screens? I love the fact that my Sony eReader doesn't require a stylus—I use the back of a pen, a credit card corner, fingernail, etc. The Archos 5 did the same. They never seem to list this aspect when I see specs for tablets, but is definitely part

The same foam rubber liner makes for a good jar opener.

Apologies, NickG. As witeowl pointed out, I was indeed where Youtube was blocked. I've watched and thoroughly enjoyed the video. In face, I often get a "blocked" message, but I don't with Youtube, it just doesn't show up.

The constellations are there to show where the North Star is. So this cup

I haven't put plastic of any sort in the dishwasher since hearing the heat and exposure affects the plastic, so that it is more likely to infiltrate food put into it later...

This is hotly debated among grammarians. Oxford favours the example you give. Yale does not.

That was when I was a student ("when I had too few of those dollars") .

and the follow-up,

I discovered a couple decades ago, when I was very much poorer, that when I felt down either giving a dollar to a beggar (when I had too few of those dollars), or giving blood or helping someone else always began to restore me to health. It changed my whole outlook on life, and I hope I am the better for it.

Until relatively recently, all tragedies were personal or local;how it affected your own village or tribe.
