@GirafficPark: Every Christmas I place cloves stuck in oranges as part of the decorations. Home stagers know that some natural scents do better than others to put people "in the mood" to buy. Cut onions in a bowl of water for a day or two do wonders of removing many petro-chemical smells.
@wjglenn: And never order spaghetti when meeting a new client!
@Bruce Landwaster: Your statement that the study is **** is based on a couple of your own experiences, anecdotes to be precise, yet you use it to pooh-pooh carefully moderated experiments designed to weed out sources of error, scientifically done. Who should I believe? I know. I'll believe your exceptional case of…
Many years ago, I saw a "bag" for soap slivers. With this inspiration, I took a washcloth, and sewed up the sides to make a pouch with a flap. Instead of soap slivers, I put in a whole bar of glycerine soap (which would otherwise dissolve in a couple days), and it lasts for weeks. Exfoliates, saves on soap, and by…
@Jonathan Parent: I suppose =)
@HashMaster9000: Awaiting the rel;ease of entourage Edge very soon.

For me, notes are not the same as quoting. My notes are filtered by my interpretation of the notes, and what ideas they generate. This way, the notes have meaning, and stick with me.
My favourite is the Ikea TroFast ([www.ikea.com]) children's organizer. I use the vertical one, and have 3 bins—the large one on the bottom for paper (it is heaviest, and we seem to accumulate more of it than others), the next size down for cans, glass and recyclable plastics (the city gathers them together), and a…
Best new idea for burnt-on pans and grills: soak in water with "dishwasher detergent" instead of dish detergent. Never expected it, but it works like a charm!
@seric: Pretty close to what the Entourage Edge is promising in the next month or so. I would concur with your wants.
Most often the forms that have to go back and forth require signatures or other sensitive information. Sorry, this is not an online app for me.

@Atomische: Bingo. That's what I use, too. I use one with transparent pockets so I don't feel the need to label, or ensure that the cable goes back into the same place.
We should also encourage using our equipment while it is viable, and not add to the electronic waste. That includes adding things for 'wireless' just for the convenience factor.
If possible, I make sure only Robertson screws are used. If I buy something that comes with screws, it is cheaper to buy new screws than use the Phillips (the problem really IS the Phillips screw design!).
Never had a problem with the brown ceramic bears. Soak the ceramic in water for at least 15 min, then pat dry. Lasts for at least 3-4 months for me.
@OnTheCastingCouch: In high school I tutored kids in math, and came to the same result you did the hard way; math is progressive; if you miss something and don't make it up, it has long-term effects. Even though there was at first resistence to go back to stuff 3-4 years their junior, it turned out to be the best…
