As long as you pay for it, I'm sure they don't care what you do with it.

I have had people who are against the criminalization of sex work make this exact argument to me. I have been called a fascist for trying to point out that consent doesn't really exist as a concept with a 13 year old. Worst, unsexiest double date ever.

The number of times I've seen articles about this in the US where the pimps end up being cops makes my skin crawl.

What is her commentary like?

First off, he seems like an elderly man, those seats by the door are reserved for the elderly, handicapped and pregnant. So sitting there is actually within his right.

? I don't understand your post.

What's with the feet around the crucifixes?

That is not how caste works in India (or anywhere). You can be from a "low" caste and be very rich, like the dalit (untouchable) Indian diplomat busted for not paying her housekeeper in New York. Or you can be a Brahman and be homeless on the street. The way caste is spoken about in English is basically nonsense.

Caste and class have nothing to do with each other.

Because of the rude suggestion you made higher up on this thread.

I'm sorry, I just bristled when I saw a bunch of people telling a person of color what they are "entitled" to. You are right I had a rage stroke and was very rude to you. I blame myself.

I'm afraid I don't understand the question.

Women take up less room because society tells themselves to take up less room. Fuck that, take up as much room as you want.

I am just saying don't go around judging and shaming other people. Live your own life. People in New York are going to do some weird things, you let it go graciously. But trying to enforce an idea of a white middle class "social contract" on the diverse population that rides the city's trains is just going to leave

She publicly shames people and then writes comments inviting people to "set themselves on fire", that's pretty inflammatory.

Who am I judging?

I thought we're all supposed to be freeing ourselves and our bodies from arbitrary social strictures. But this site is using shame (!) to try and enforce new ones. That doesn't seem bizarre to you?

A lot of people don't follow this "social contract". Maybe its not a social contract then. If she was taking pictures of men taking up space on full trains, then yes that is rude. At the moment in most of her pictures the train is clearly empty and she leaves incredibly nasty comments underneath. This is more about

It is about judging and shaming people. Read the comments she puts under the pics:

Entitled to? What a sad uptight world you live in. It must constantly break your heart that other people do not follow the arbitrary rules you've created for them in your head. You wouldn't survive in New York, not without becoming the most insufferable person.
