I really liked Luke and Danny - it definitely felt like a post-Defenders episode, that these two have hung out and gotten pizza after defeating the Hand. I also thought the line about everyone has his back, and actually listing everyone made the series’ feel more interconnected. I think this might have been more

I definitely agree that there’s a big mid-season quality dip, but this is the episode where it picks itself back up for me. Even though the Luke/Danny scenes in Defenders were fun, I was a bit concerned when I found out he’d be appearing in Luke Cage S2. Turns out it’s just this episode, and he’s more there for moral

I especially loved Danny saying that Luke’s kid buddy from the barber shop gets that him always calling himself “the immortal Iron Fist” is smart branding

Actually, I thought danny worked well in this episode. Perhaps it is you who feels unbalanced and out of place hahahahahahahahahahhhhhh

I’m sorry, this was my favorite ep of the season, just for “Patty Cake”.

I was so disappointed when that scene started. I hope this isn’t the end of Drummer. I was happily surprised.

BEST. SHOW. ON. TELEVISION.

I was not and am not willing to see any good characters of the show sacrificed like GoT. I hope it stays as it is.

Drummer’s an amalgam of several characters, and in the books the character who gets their spine broke is a guy named Bull. Now he ends up leading a mutiny against Ashford, but in the lift shaft he detonates the grenades to take out the guys in power armour.

Same, I was distraught when I thought that she was going to perish.

What an awesome end to the season !

Great season finale. Best Sci-Fi on TV. Thank You Amazon for saving this show.

LOVE that Thomas Jane appears to be coming back for season 4. I miss Chrisjen. I hope she has a lot to do with the story going forward. I am about halfway through book 2 of the series, so I have some reading to do to get caught up and maybe ahead of the TV show by the time it comes back.

Now playing

At first I thought this was a movie-length adaptation of the “Total Eclipse of the Heart” video.

Kratos celebrating his goal.

I still like Sam Neill’s Damien. There, I said it, come at me (no, don’t come at me).

Corporate-speak at it’s finest! Maybe we should complain in a language that they can understand....

Gizmodo media is guilty of trying to shift to video with autoplay as well.

It’s very helpful that Martian spaceships have their distress signals both labeled clearly in Earth languages and easily accessible with simple dashboard presses so that humans taking their last breaths know exactly what to push.
