Why are you so adamant about this? The back view is the regular gamepad, sure, but the front view is clearly different.

But these are two different shots. It is entirely possible they switched one for another. I'd might even go so far as to say that the pad could be just a prop, not even a functional controller.

Why would you doubt this? These companies are constantly releasing smaller versions of existing tech. If I didn't already have a WiiU (that I barely play) I wouldn't buy one until this was confirmed or denied.

I cannot disagree more. I have not seen a dev team more invested in their community, maintaining constant interaction and making changes to the core of the game based on player feedback. Not to mention the fact that they DO have nightly builds, and they take the time to explain exactly what they were working on.

Totally projecting, I know... but at a glance there's kind of a, "please send help I'm drowning", kind of vibe going on here.
