This lovely track from the very first Sims game has somehow stayed in my mind all these years—its happy, jazzy retro-lounge sound conjures up images of life in 1950s-1960s suburbia ... or TV sitcoms.

Only third person or 2D games for me, as I can’t play first person games for more than 20 minutes without getting dizzy and puking.

I thought the throbbing synthesizer score was fantastic though—definitely a nod to Phantasm and the John Carpenter films.
