Years ago, on afternoon TV, I was able to watch a 1972 British horror anthology film titled “Asylum,” in which a doctor applies for a job at a mental asylum, where some of the patients have their own horror stories. Some of the stories were actually good, and the cast included Peter Cushing, Herbert Lom, Charlotte

Thanks for posting pages from that awesome Dracula arc by Roger Stern and Steve Leialoha from Doctor Strange—that arc started as far back as the X-Men issue and annual with Dracula, then crossed over to Thor and The Defenders at one point and also involved the Scarlet Witch and Monica Rambeau.

That girl in green in the lower bottom...is that Opal Tanaka?

The opening credits of Northern Exposure and Carnivale (which unfortunately weren’t included in the above clip) are among my favorites. At least they managed to include two of my other favorites, Halt and Catch Fire and Silicon Valley.

Joanna Wellick’s character is a complete waste of time--she’s hardly relevant to whatever is going on with the rest of the characters, aside from being once married to Tyrell. Maybe they should let her fall into an elevator shaft next season so we won’t see any more of her.

He hasn’t been promoting the show because he’s filming part one of It, where he plays Richie Tozier.

Of all the special edition handhelds by Nintendo, this GBA-SP Famicom version was the best for me.

Love that painting of Krypto by Alex Ross—it’s the quintessential rendering of Krypto for me, making him so imposing and majestic.

But that was actually a rather good performance of “Everybody Wants to Rule the World.” Dark, but still good—she can sing.

The Wall Street Journal has confirmed this new PlayStation 4 standard model:

Thanks for the explanation—I’m going to try out No Man’s Sky soon.

Wild Arms was a landmark game for me, and it was the first time I noticed how beautiful music can be in a game when done right—Michiko Naruke’s work on this game was truly fantastic and sadly often unheralded. I remember buying the first OST that was released, and was dismayed when not all the songs on the game were

This lovely track from the very first Sims game has somehow stayed in my mind all these years—its happy, jazzy retro-lounge sound conjures up images of life in 1950s-1960s suburbia ... or TV sitcoms.

Only third person or 2D games for me, as I can’t play first person games for more than 20 minutes without getting dizzy and puking.

My personal favorites include:

Nope, the next one will be Resident Evil: A New Beginning.

Please add Patricia “Trish” Walker as Hellcat, who is actually one of The Defenders (in the comics).

Me loves some Elizabeth Debicki
