Build Fighters was “Gundam Fan Service: The Animation” and that is perfectly alright with me. I do agree that some of the newer, more serious series have been lacking.

You know I’m not sure I would mind if they just kept the time period the same as the manga. The nostalgia-fetish can’t be a US only thing.

I agree but the author should have specified if it was a US Fuckton or a Metric Fuckton.

No Gatchaman Crowds: Insight??

I hadn’t even heard of this game till today but if they include ThunderCats then I will have no choice but to buy this and whatever console it releases on if I don’t have it.

If EA can get us a new Mirror’s Edge then Ubisoft better announce a new Beyond Good and Evil!

Couldn’t agree more, the moment I read “dino skins” I immediately pictured kogmaw as the spitting raptor in Jurassic Park (sound effects and all).

Its one of those shows like “The Office” or “Arrested Development” (which I just can’t bring myself to honestly laugh at) either the characters and comedy-style click with you or they don’t. The import thing to note however is that even if the show doesn’t appeal to you can still see it as a good show.

My god that is some serial killer-esque shit right there.

What is this show???

Why does this not have more stars!? This deserves more stars!

I think we need to coin a new genre for this show. I suggest Food Ecchi (Food Porn in anime form).

I would say tied with BBB for best of Spring ‘15 which still makes it a crime to have it not on here but include Plastic Memories which despite being touching is fairly boring and slow with main characters that I personally lost interest half-way through the first episode.

Peanut butter coated tentacle gold!

You are alone, child. There is only darkness for you, and only death for your people. [...] I will command a great and terrible army, and we will sail to a billion worlds. We will sail until every light has been extinguished. You are strong child, but I am beyond strength. I am the end, and I have come for you, Finn.

Someone wanna walk me through why the string of numbers from Knowing was flashing on the screen whenever he got hit?

I think it just comes down to a difference in perception. For me, when I buy a game it needs to be complete in terms of content and experience and any DLC should be added value and not required to gain the full experience from the game. So if I were to relate amiibo to this, the figures are the game for me, complete

I can certainly respect that opinion but, that just means that amiibo are not being marketed towards you. Every game that has amiibo support is already a complete gaming experience so there is no reason to buy any of the amiibo unless you like the figurines.

I’m right with you and @Herogear, even if you choose to see these as DLC they are still a better offering than most DLC you get from the likes of EA or Activision. Though I still am not inclined to refer to Amiibo as DLC, they are collector figurines/toys that have the added bonus of having a function in some of their

They way they are implementing them now is fine if you ask me. They are not “needed” in anyway and only provide a boost/nudge to collectors and weary parents trying to keep their kids happy and preoccupied.
