yup, like how comstock leaves incriminating "diary" notes scattered in bathrooms all over the city...kinda weird if you ask me.

Open world PVP will always be better than playing the same 3 mini games over and over again.

Or maybe there are just more amateur game projects than there are amateur book/movie projects?

That is an embarrassment. As with any professional environment, a skirt should be knee length, at the shortest. This is just so damn wrong for so many reasons. The male flight attendants should be wearing booty shorts just to even out the playing field.

Let's go the full distance.

If you have never played the original, I'd recommend you don't play any Yoshi's Island until you can. Hence, the no. I don't see much merit in recommending a game that I think is inferior even if, today, you might not be able to play Yoshi's Island on a 3DS.

Dust was such an amazing and beautiful game. It's a shame that most people blew it off as a furry fetish game and criticized the art as being "Deviantart quality" instead of actually worrying about the actual gameplay itself.

Fixed it.

Now playing

I don't know, man. Snake Eater's James Bond inspired intro is hard to beat.

While I don't believe absolute perfection has been achieved in gaming (yet, anyway), I'll list the first thing that came to mind, because it sure as hell came closer than most have, especially in the "current" generation:

Title: Ninja Gaiden Xbox

amazing game ahead

I've still never played a game that was so immersive, and story really tugged at the feels. It was personal. Plus, it took a fairly one-note generic villain and made him into easily one of the coolest and relatable characters in gaming.

I would say Valkryia Chronicles for me. It wasn't a commercial success, but the game-play and story was on point pretty much from the beginning. The strategy involved for each stage required thinking, and you didn't mind doing so with the nice amount of character selections (including some from Skies of Arcadia),

IMO there is no perfect game. Every game ever made has some area that could be better or something that can be fixed. At least I have never played a game that has left me feeling like "no game will ever be better than this one".

My vote for what I consider to be the closest to a perfect game (aka my favorite game):

Dark Souls

Bastion's one of three games I'll label as a 'perfect video game,' and be dead serious about it.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

xenoblade. great story, gameplay, visuals, music, ideas. everything just wraps up into each other into a perfect little ball.

Wow... I think I played this back in 2005 and it did not look this cool...
