I agree about Kingdom Hearts, they need to close all those plot holes in a satisfying way, I also hope they make an awesome ending cutscenes, KH1 ending for example was incredibly satisfying.

The story in 13 can also be summed up simply. A group of people need to work together to undo a curse before they reach the time limit and die.

I agree, but the way I understand it is: simple is to keep the story relatively familiar, and to make it complex we just try to twist some small elements in the story that cause ripples which cause the overarching story to seem more complex.

I'm really skeptical. On the one hand this looks to be an very fun action RPG. On the other hand the characters seem somewhat anime cliche, moody protagonist and each of his friends incorporate something, like the playboy, the joker, the shy guy, the arrogant badass. (pun intended)
