If you think about it, single player really feels isolating in a sense. In Halo, you were always alone. Your enemies were always basically walking targets. That shot back. You're some super-soldier who has no equal because either your teammates are dying, or they're useless.

Well, these graphics aren't going to look brilliant on a next-gen computer with quad Titans either, ya know. It's not like they're 10K poly models. They're sprites for crying out loud.

I watched a stream of X360 SOT last night, and I can attest to the fact that the game's frame rate or something was making it run all chunky. Very obvious "attempts to load" what really shouldn't be a major loading screen, a literal shift in a flat environment.
