I have no next gen consoles. The last console I purchased was a Wii. A console has to earn its way into my living room. My PS2 did. My N64 did. My Wii sort of petered out.
I love Zelda games and RPGs. I enjoyed SNES Mario a lot, but for me, platformers seem dated, and it almost seems like each new Mario is more like a party game for people who have friends who want to come over and play in order to enjoy it.
This could do it if it succeeded.
I don't know what it would take to convince me to buy a Wii U. Bravely Default, from Kotaku's articles alone, would make me want to buy a 3DS. Same with OoT which I never beat on my N64. And Star Fox.
