No it isn't. Diesel does cost more per gallon, but it is cheaper to run with because of the efficiency of Diesel cars, and Americans cannot do math in their heads. The reason why Diesel costs more is because...oh, no reason, it just does.

Let's not blame bad weather. Many northern climes have bad weather on roads. Alcohol and drunk driving  is a major problem in Russia.

So people actually form opinions of other based on cars they drive? I see someone in a late model Mercedes or BMW, I know that it is likely leased and the owner could not afford to buy it. Most of thse cars are rented new. Pathetic.
