Maybe if he wasn’t using while having his own personal, (off-key) karaoke moment, it wouldn’t be as bad. Is that what Catholic priests do now - have song solos? That video looks creepy, like a tent evangelist. When I went to church it was always the choir and/or congregation doing the singing.

At least he’s got the athletic skill to see those hits coming and avoid them, unlike Cliff Avril.

9 year olds shouldn’t still be believing in Santa.

Bill Simmons goes on at length about Moses Malone’s butt in the Book of Basketball.

Yeah, it’s better than the head coaches who leave before the bowl game.

Anyone that commutes in a car, runs, works out at the gym, can listen to headphones at work, etc.

Drew Brees overlaps the 2 longest TD streak teams, for a total of 14 years.

Mark Jackson was indeed not a good coach, but the Warriors did follow the path that almost every championship NBA team does, losing in the playoffs a couple times before putting it all together.

That’s the most I’ve *ever* seen a knee bend in completely the wrong direction. Even a lot of bad ACL tears you see them bend almost 90 degrees sideways, but the knee has inherent sideways flexibility. This was 90 degrees *backwards*. Gross.

Dr. Doom, because he’s from Latvaria, right?

Yeah but there’s leeway given in terms of getting the ball *to* the inbounder. Like say the opponent tosses you the ball after a basket, but you bobble and drop it...It’s not going to be called OOB until you actually get *possession* of it. And that’s probably what should have been called here if you’re a stickler:

Alan Trammell has higher career and peak WAR than McGwire. And his double play partner Lou Whitaker has lower peak, but also significantly more career WAR. Get those guys in.

I always thought “No One Else” was being told from the point of view of an overly jealous, controlling man; not necessarily Rivers himself. Or that he was exposing his unseemly jealous side; not glorifying it. It’s pretty hard to interpret that song as Rivers trying to be romantic or anything.
