I regularly see female Guardians in promos and trailers for Destiny DLC and whatnot, and it warms my heart just a little each and every time. The female Guardians look every bit as cool as the male Guardians. I think that, over all, Bungie is pretty cool when it comes to how they treat women in their games.

Completely with you man. When I first found out Samus was a woman, I think I just fell more in love with her. I'm biased though, I hate male characters because my inner machismo doesn't allow me to fully appreciate them.

Except what's fun about the game is that it's the best multiplayer coop FPS on the market. The story being nonexistant is as important to this as the story is important to League of Legends. I'm perfectly fine with the loot system. It's biggest problem is the lack of content.
