In all honesty, this is making me lean towards the smaller system rather than the XL. The ability to customize the design of my DS? If it gets scratched I can just replace it? Awesome!

That is because it on the "console of choice" for the masses right now. You can bet your ass there would be total nerd rage if it was Microsoft teaming up with FROM Software and NOT Sony.

Now that I've gotten a little bit of a chance to do a little bit of research, it doesn't look like it is capable of passing through the DTS. I may be wrong, but the couple of sites I looked it made it seem like this was the case. And this new model COULD be different, but I doubt that.
