Thank you for sharing this! Health and access to healthy foods, healthy and safe neighborhoods, a living wage so families have more time together, all of these things are part of the issue. It is so stinkin' complex. Everyone on every level of every thing is basically a culprit. A well disguised culprit. GAH.

Indeed. I think awareness and critical thinking and decision-making are what are necessary, here, and in our other consumer-based lifestyles. It is incredibly complex, as looking into our foodways and food sources has demonstrated (and as you explained).

Oh, I hear you! Money anxiety is the worst, and grips me nearly everyday.I do hope you find some peace. Do you live somewhere large enough to have counselors that specialize in money anxiety? I can't recommend therapy enough.
