Duramax in a C8?  Hell yes, me too.

An Albins AGB-L6S should be able to handle the input torque. They’re used in a few desert trucks where they’re sitting behind 600+HP engines.

They get almost $10k for a duramax option. I honestly think I would pay it for the manual. I wouldn’t be happy about it, but for me, it’s manual or nothing. It’s a toy and I want to enjoy it.

Buy a Tacoma TRD with a stick before it goes extinct.

The C7 manual had a 23% take rate. That’s not insignificant or uncommon.

Come on 2019 ZR1 depreciation curve.

Jalopnik have no good cotomer sevis. Why they no sell manuel Corvettes?

Sexy mid-engine sports car with an American small block and manual transaxle? I guess it’s back to Panteras for me then.

The C8 Corvette Is Not Getting a Manual Gearbox.”

I will not get over it and you can’t make me.

I’m not saying it is.  Likely because its a turd of a car.  I’m just saying maybe they are going for cost savings a different way.

1st Gear: I am just a dumb hick but maybe the i3 isn’t selling that well because it suffers from the same problem a lot of electric cars have. It’s fucking hideous.

It has to be said: BMW “merging” the two kidney grilles into a single tiger-nose is a terrible idea. The shape is already “owned” by Kia (KIA?). In what world does it make sense to give up 75 years of equity in having two (2) grilles, just so today’s design studio can “own” the creation of something?

Thank you for saying that. I have been feeling like I am taking crazy pills for saying that for so long, despite historical evidence for affordable mid-engine cars that share components with other cars, longitudinal or transverse.

Yeah, this is the illicit love child of a 458 and a C7.

Like a Corvette and a Ferrari had a kid (read: I like it).

In the C7, back where they belong.

Yeah, they all migrated from Irvine to “Buy Here, Pay Here” lots in San Bernardino.

I live near ‘scrap’ yards, the insurance auction is on Wednesday and Thursday night they’re usually shoving cars into containers to go to Africa, with whatever else fits in it.
