Genesis did have a manual option on the G70 2.0. I’d describe it as “pretty darn good” - I’d take it over a 3-series for sure. If they’d had one on the lot in January I’d own one by now - COVID shut everything down before I could place an order for one, and now they’ve discontinued the manual and are not taking orders

That’s correct. If you want a new three-pedal sports sedan in the US, there’s the bucktoothed, buckboard-ride M3, and these two Caddys.

+1. I’ve bought many hooptie Porsches at this point, and the Boxster is probably, without exaggeration, the most annoying to work on and the most chintizily engineered. If you can’t afford to buy a minty $12k Boxster S, you *definitely* can’t afford the expensive surprises that most likely lurk within a $5.5k Boxster

Ford does make a regular cab Ranger. Dealers don’t stock them much, but they exist.

Holy shit. Why didn’t we know about that before?

I do M&A as part of my actual job, and agree that it is 100% silly to say stock-for-stock = “target isn’t worth very much.” It’s just a choice the acquirer makes based on their ability to raise cash, where they think their own stock price is relative to where they expect it will be, and how they want to apportion the

The worst car of 2019 was a Bugatti, but not the silly-but-gorgeous Centidieci. It was the Divo. Basically, a Chiron with a body kit and stiff suspension, that somehow cost $3M more than a Chiron.

I think this thing is exactly what I’m looking for. We tow a race car or equipment trailer 6-12 times a year. We need a big car a few times a year. I sold my Yukon XL because it sucked too much gas for road trips or business delivery runs, it was too huge to commute with, and it felt silly to have a gigantic truck

The right choice is, of course, an E30 with the F-Body’s LS1 swapped in. ;-)

A Macan-based Lambo for $150k-175k would sell a shit ton more than a new Jarama. Not my idea of a good time, but that’s the world we live in.

Huh. This is far cheaper than I had been led to believe by Matt Farah’s podcast. Actually kind of a bargain, in a way. You could get a Bentley Bentayga, or you could have a completely Bugatti Type 35 recreation. I know which one won’t be on a buy-here-pay-here lot in 10 years.

Wait, what shop is that? Half a million sounds cheap for a decent recreation. It’s a lot cheaper than Pur Sang will charge you for a re-created pre-war Bugatti.

That was exactly what I thought, too. I’m guessing there are a couple of old-money British patriots on the buyer list that will spec theirs more tastefully, but you’ll never see them except maybe in the paddock at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Martha refused to provide evidence against Sam Waksal and his brother Harlan. They were respectively the CEO and CFO of ImClone, the company whose stock she allegedly traded with insider knowledge.

The reduction in wind noise is meaningful. I’ve been in several 2019-model cars that were so quiet, the dominant noise was the wind over the mirror fairings.

Tesla should really do a trades & delivery van like the Ram Promaster or the Ford Transit.

Please, please let it be called the F-teenthousand.

*facepalm* - yeah, actually I did miss the “2 car seats.” Well, I guess he’s getting a Benz or a Lexus.

Jesus Christ, people. There are so many better answers to this question I don’t know where to begin:
