I’m surprised this didn’t cover the olive oil fraud that I’ve heard about. I’ve been sticking with California olive oil just because I figured they’d be safe from the counterfeiting that I’ve heard so much about. I’d love to buy some quality Italian extra virgin olive oil, but I’m concerned about dropping the money…

Would this only be true if I have the oil in clear glass?  In other words, I couldn’t just take a green laser to the grocery store and use the laser to test because most of the bottles are tinted glass or plastic, right?

You can also add parsnips to most pureed soups and they will add a creamy texture without adding fat.  They have a fairly mild flavor that is slightly sweet and a little earthy.  

Try switching to Japanese or Chinese Eggplant, instead of the European, globe eggplants. You can give them a quick sauté in a hot pan and they will get tender without turning to mush.

My added suggestion to the already great advice is that you don’t need to worry about pinching everything so hard. Being gentle and picking food up with a light touch is often more secure than trying to squeeze the crap out of it so you don’t drop it.

I feel like the most common place people have mold is in the caulk along the ring of their bathtub.  Any suggestions aside from recaulking?

Wow.  Deep cuts.  

It’s fine to use soap. Residual coffee oils go rancid very quickly, and will destroy the taste of your coffee. A little soap and thorough rinsing is no problem.

Yeah, that’s not going to cut it for the french press. Maybe for an every-day cleaning, that’s a fine method, but if you’re doing a deep clean, you really need to take apart the plunger. Once you take it apart, you’ll see probably a decent amount of coffee grounds, built-up coffee oils, and other assorted gunk hiding…

You seriously need to write a “Will it Waffle” cookbook.  If you can get weed stores to stock it you will get stupid rich.
