That's what I was referring to, it just feels so... effortless.

I feel so lazy when I don't even bother to pull out my phone when I install the apps you review. Anyway, I'll give it a shot, but I never used the feature, or even the dual app feature on my GS4 before I rom'd it. Even with a 5in screen it felt crowded with two things going at once.

Is this what happens when you get married? The table with the Corona's on it goes away?

Hmm so it's not the absence of the education that's the problem, its the delivery. Were there any parts of it you found useful/interesting? Did the teacher make it a competition or were you just kind of rolling along?

All good points. I guess our kids are doomed to make the same mistakes we did.

I'm all for supporting the academic side of all things, but ffs economists have trouble explaining the damn LIBOR rate let alone teenagers out of high school.

It takes a little while, but this site should help

Yes, because the school boards are in cahoots (word of the day) with the... credit card companies? Really I don't even know who you would think could or would coordinate something like that. The league of shadows? Professor Chaos and General Disarray? Enron? The possibilities are endless!

So I don't know if it's because I'm using another app quick-launcher (Floating Toucher), but I'm having some issues with Methodic on my vzw GS4 (Running the stock google ROM), it takes 4-5 tries to actually open an app on the Methodic widget. Anyone else have that problem?

I have a question. Why is this shit not taught in high school? I would bet that a significant portion of the population don't know some of these basic rules of saving. (I made some pretty significant and easily avoidable mistakes by not following some of these tenants). Lets save our kids the trouble!

Well I think the intent is to teach your children that saving is good. Telling your 6 year old that their money would be better in a mutual fund and that they should dump their weekly allowance into a variable annuity is not likely going to help. You can have them go to the bank with you and "put their money into a

mmmm <— so far thats all it has on my home screen... I have a feeling it's going to drop the reddit app in spot #1, then just rotate the other 3 between SSG 2, clock, and calendar. Oh well, I'll give it a shot.

Hmm, odd that she was referred to in the third person then. Thanks OP.

Intentional. Susan didn't create the ring theory, unless your referring to Susan Silk a co-author of the article, Susan they refer to is purely to add a name to the story. Fictional Female Character #1 doesn't have the same ring to it as Susan.

It is the gift that keeps on giving...

That can be a risky strategy, depending on your company and your boss. My boss would definitely ask, and when I told him the truth, he would tell me that was ridiculous and that I should just decline any meeting before 9. While on the flip side, people wouldn't hesitate to just drop a 7:30-8 meeting on me if we didn't

I like the idea of dragging someone in there with me, there are quite a few people that I work with and around that are in similar situations. The only problem with coffee shops is that when I go to one, I feel... obligated to buy coffee.

I'm not taking on the extra work to be a team player, I'm taking on the extra work because it gives me facetime with VPs and executive level folks. I am currently able to get everything done, but balancing the extra projects with my normal activities is not easy and only recently did I start running into the problem

Don't forget to look at the cost of living index for where you are, and where you are offered a job! It often averages major metro areas, so it can be misleading if you plan on living on the dodgy side of town, but can make a huge difference.

I've actually tried to do this before. Being at the bottom of the proverbial food chain, and volunteering myself into an endless supply of projects (and subsequently meetings), I tried to block off time for me to actually DO my work but these would just get eaten up as soon as someone higher than me in the food chain
