Work and home addresses have been a big part of Google's picture of you since Google Now was first introduced. However, they weren't always super easy to edit or even navigate to. With this update, every time you search for directions, one of the available cards will include your work and home addresses.

Any reports back on the stability of the de-skinned gs4s? That's my main concern with putting a ROM on my phone.

Scrolling while writing comments is key!

Looks like they are starting to add some of the Waze functionality (whom they purchased recently) like the traffic and having a set "home" and "work". I wonder how they load the traffic, whether it's user based (like waze) or if they get it from a DOT type source.

A much needed update. For some reason I have memories of the skype desktop client being... difficult to close as well. For the phone client, it was easy to log off before, I just uninstalled it.

Do it! I lost a grandmother to Alzheimers/dementia and the more we can do to help prevent others from suffering like that, the better.

My brain will never see it coming!

I typically use PDAnet which looks like it also has an ios version. I like it because you can download the pc-client to your phone, then extract it to your computer (easily).

Having internet is a good point. Typically work stresses during vacation for me come when I have a "did I remember to..." moment. Freak out a little, flip open the laptop, frantically search outlook, find it, relax again.

Not surprising but also shows another easy spiral to fall into regarding weight. My brother struggles with his weight, and also has sleep apnea(sp?) which is attributed to his weight.

Just as an FYI, it's not free. I just got it on sale for $1.34 or something around there, also has a nifty "On-screen LED" feature if your phones LED doesn't like to be anything other than red/green.

So what's the give away to the left handed setup? Headphones on the left, but that could be so they don't knock them off when getting up to see if it's snowing again.

If I had a view of snow-covered trees right behind my monitor, I wouldn't be able to get any work done. I would just sit and stare... or just read lifehacker articles all day... like I'm doing right now, only with snow...

You can? The mouse is on the right...

No touching!

I think tips are fine, but not how we use them now. They should not be required for service occupations to make a living, they should be paid fair wages. A tip should be reserved for exceptional service.

Yeah but if you tell your waitress your going to give her a big tap... she may be less likely to return promptly.

I don't think the analogy was taking into account the frog residue that would be on your teeth and tongue. But I imagine, like a good IPA, it would make everything have a strong... "hoppy" taste to it.
