Same.

I’m happy but it’s been muted. It’s hard to tell if it’s exhaustion or if because the slow moving nature of this count sucked some of the joy out of the win. I’m sure the loss of our senate hopes also factored in (yea I know we still have the runoffs but getting both seems like a long shot)

We’ve been getting near daily robocalls for weeks at work from the Trump campaign and the RNC (guessing at least one of my bosses gives money), and we were still getting them as recently as Thursday.  It’s be interested rose how long they go on.

It definitely is the biggest effort of all of the similar ones I’ve seen.

John McCain is Hulk, RBG is War Machine.  But I agree it would have been better flipped.

I’ve been mesmerized by this one personally. Even with (or because of?) some of the more questionable cameos.

I’d say our long national nightmare is over, but I have a feeling the next 10 weeks are going to be wild.

I think that’s the sort of thing they want in a First Lady and not a president though. I’m sure there’s a pocket of Republican women who would be jazzed to vote for her, but I think for most of the party she has the energy they want in a political wife but not in a leader.

Ivanka hasn’t realized yet that her brother’s more popular with his dad’s base than she is.  I doubt she’d get through a primary.  She and Jared are too polished for the current GOP.

I can’t wait for a time that I forget they exist, but in this moment, I’m finding myself deeply curious what Jared and Ivanka are doing right now. Jared especially since he has no social media presence so he hasn’t been even been doing Ivanka’s half hearted parroting of her dad’s demand to count “all legal votes” on

I live in a red state and work in an office where I may be the only white Democrat (I recognized the sort of shell-shocked trauma in some of my coworkers’ eyes on Wednesday that I felt in 2016) so I’ve had to make peace a long time ago that both Trump support and negative partisanship are powerful forces across much

I’m aware, but I always scroll the main page out of habit. I doubt I’m the only one. I’m just saying when you build you front page in a way that deprioritizes new content, you can’t be surprised when it takes longer for new posts to get engagement.

But I’m somewhat surprised (and obviously disappointed) by how close the popular vote is.”

Her answer was pretty clumsy, but I essentially took it to mean that no one, even people who check the “right” boxes, is spared from deep, sometimes even crippling, anxiety about the way they look. Which is both true and perfectly relatable, but is also not the answer a lot of people want to hear when someone is

Really? Y’all do know your new format require mobile users to scroll through a couple screens worth of stories to even come across this one. I don’t have your access to the traffic numbers, but it’s certainly affecting how long it takes me to get newly posted content.  I would be surprised if it’s not affecting how

I agree with Ashley, Shiv voted for Biden. We know her work history prior leaving politics (her last two clients were stand ins for Harris and Sanders) and her general distaste for the political bent of family’s media empire. She’s not a true believer/ally in progressive causes but being the Quasi-Woke Roy is

Shiv worked for in politics for most of her career and appeared to have worked for Democratic politics, so I definitely think she’s a voter. And given that her last two employers appear to be Bernie and Kamala analogs, I agree with Ashley that she likely voted for Biden/Harris though she’s likely pleased that Biden

I agree that it’d be a mistake to assume that every generation will be more progressive than the last, but being more conservative than a pretty liberal generation wouldn’t mean that Gen Z is actually conservative. Also, given that the oldest Zoomers are only in their early 20s and the youngest are still in elementary

We agree that the expansion of power in the presidency isn’t a comfort. My point was that the presidency is capable of being a very dangerous weapon as much as it is a tool, and so it matters a lot who has control of it.

Heck, a flipped Senate with Trump is better than Biden with a Republican Senate.“
