I need more Xenogears in my life. I have no false hopes of a remake/proper sequel, but would it be too much to ask to have it officially ported to Switch/PC

The “Fight for your Life” revive from Borderlands would fit well.

The cinematic break points on bosses were annoying the first time around but largely impacted play feel for the player rather than the outcome of a given battle. Probably an advantage of being from the NES era, it is a rare event to run down a controller in a single session and hardlining for it to charge is the mildest of inconveniences.

Xenogears is one of my all time favorite games, is there a recommended starting point in the Xenoblade series for fans of PSX era RPGs?

I just hope the employees are properly compensated for the effort. As awful as it must be to still end up crunching with an extra 6 months of runway. Surprised they hit this price point. Pick up the 3070 or AMD equivalent, a PS5, the new switch, and be set for a bit. Kids may age into gaming by the time PS5 mid gen comes out and give the OG to them.

Had my ass handed to me by him 12 years ago, if he was training new rogues it would be the most feared class in the game bar none. A funny memory of him, he was so invested in the subtlety spec he went all of TBC without learning Mutilate from the trainer. RIP to an absolute legend.
