The “they” is Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, PC Storefronts. I’m not sure why you think this is so difficult. If you don’t give your kids the ability to purchase in game content, then they cannot purchase in game content. It is Literally that simple...

Yep, she can play anything she wants, she just cant make in-game purchases. And as long as she lives under my roof I get to chose what she plays and doesn’t.* Its not hard to put a restriction on your account, they make it really simple to do. If all else fails, ill remove my card from the account.
