Yeah, well in the books they were some of the least vampirey vampires. They were pretty much humanoid fleshy bat like creatures.

Mark-Paul’s character is around until the very end, even in the Post apocalyptic stuff. Very important to Amy’s story. And there are some flashbacks to them surviving and stuff.
